Yes this is what you have been waiting and now it’s done. I have a date. Though there is a lot of contention about it, now things are a bit clear. However, I do not know for how long things will remain so.
The IEBC announced that the next general election will be done on 4th of March 2013. Now I can strategize about how to make money as we approach the general elections. I already had an idea and now its time to develop it and roll it out to the public.
Am serious, as Kenyan we know how to seize opportunities and make something out of them. How can a big process come and go without you getting something out of it? It’s for this reason why Super Graffiti International ltd will be formed. This company will specialize in making graffiti and all kinds of literature for all interested persons or entities. This literature and graffiti will be either for the praise of their course or propaganda against their opponents. As the name suggests the graffiti will be super, delivered swiftly, anywhere, anyhow, anytime and with a lot of expertise and confidentiality.
Apart from the idea of a forming the Super Graffiti international ltd, am still toying with the idea of vying for a parliamentary seat. Yes, you guessed right, I do not have the money to do the campaigns but I have everything else an MP in Kenya will need. Ok, maybe expect the lies. I am now looking for someone with big money to support my candidature. This person could be a presidential candidate who is looking for someone to campaign for him or her at the grassroots. I will do this in exchange for him or her financing my campaigns.
Before we call it a day, there are still some uncertainties about the election date. As thing are, no one is sure of anything any longer, not even the president. Anyway, life has to continue.
The bigger part of the public wants to have the elections done this year but in my assessment the IEBC did not have a choice of declaring the election date as December for they were going according to the court ruling which gave two options one of which depended on the two principals of the grand coalition. So they went with the other option of having the election done in March 2013. I like the fact that they declared things may change with time as the principles might decide to break the coalition or the appeal case at the court may change things.
The civil society wants the principles to break the coalition by 19th October 2012 so that we may have the elections in December 2012. I like this idea. But on the other side it will shorten the business period of my new company this season.
I detest the way politicians cheat us all around. They are criticizing the IEBC for nothing and in a way that makes it look like they are addressing people without ears or eyes of their own. They make me feel like a fool.
Court of Arms
The IEBC is a great body. Yesterday the civil society even recommended that the NCIC be disbanded and their funds be given to IEBC. This is because in their opinion NCIC was doing nothing of any help to us. I partly agree with them. I have many issues with NCIC but will write about that tomorrow. Make sure you do not miss my risky bashing of the Cohesion body. I hope Mzalendo will not be after me with hate speech accusations.
In the meantime, Kenya needs prayers for the intervention of the highest God. With things the way they are, only God will help us. Who else?
